The revival meeting which is lx-ing conducted nt the Ioray Baptist church by Rev. C. A. I,uielerger. of Wylien burg. 'a., is proving quite successful. Both attendance and interest have stead ily increased. There will he services ev ery afternoon and night through next Wednesday, with three services on Sun day. Captain Hoy ce was on duty with the I Fith Field Artillery, olith Division, and saw several months of active service on the western front in France. Lieut, lien F. After a few days rest he will resume his connec tion with the Ford I'ndertaking Com pany. Lieut. The series of special services which has been in progress at the First Associ ate Reformed Presbyterian church this week will continue through Sabbath night, with preaching this afternoon at 5, tonight at H:'AO and Saturday afternoon and night at the same hours by Rev. Henderlite, pastor of the First Presbyterian church here, was chosen by the Kings Mountain Presbyte ry, in session at Lincolnton this week, as one of two delegates to represent this presby tery at the meeting of the General Assembly of the Southern Presbyterian church to be held in New Orleans begin ning May 15th. Mr. A. Nixon, of Lin colnton. was elected as the other delegate. The fall meeting of Presbytery will be held at lyowell. this county. September 15th. W. Langford, a member of the firm, but made their escape U-forc he could identify them. hi passing the building on his way home Mr. Langford noticed that a light which is kept lit in the front office was not burning. When he entered the build ing the two burglars were making a thor ough search through a desk and money drawer. They made their escafie through the rear of the building. Nothing of val ue was taken, if anything. Fnt ranee was gained to the building by smashing a rear window. Police authorities were notified but no trace of the culprits could be found.
